Indian trails that converged at the Rouge River. The first settlers arrived in 1825,
and named the township in honor of the first American settlement at Plymouth Rock
where some of them had lived previously. Today this area includes what is called the
City of Plymouth and the Township of Plymouth and combined has a total population of
33,208 residents.

Educational Park (P-CEP). Park facilities include laboratories, practice areas and
a large auditorium for the performing arts and modern laboratories for the sciences,
